A stroll along Calle Sevilla or a coffee in the Alcázar de los Duques de Feria, which has been converted into a Parador Nacional, are some of the things you should not miss on your visit. If you want to enjoy more of the natural surroundings, we recommend a walk towards the Sierra de El Castellar along the path known as colorao.
- Roman Baths of Alange: these thermal baths, located some 17 kilometres from Mérida and just over twenty minutes away, date from the Roman period of the Flavian dynasty. You can also stroll around the historic quarter and enjoy the local gastronomy with some migas extremeñas (fried breadcrumbs) or a fresh gazpacho (cold soup).
