We start with a tour of the coast from south to north. We start from Alicante airport and head north along the coast, specifically to Benidorm. To get there, we take the A-70 road and drive the 58 kilometres that separate the airport from the city. Once there, a multitude of activities await us: beaches, restaurants, the port... What's more, it's a destination for all the family.
The little ones (and some not so little ones...) are sure to want to pay a visit to Terra Mítica. This amusement park is located just 10 kilometres from Benidorm on any of the following roads: N-332, N-340, N-330 and the A-7 motorway. It offers entertainment for young and old, and rides for the more adventurous, as well as food stalls and gift shops. It is well worth a visit to ride the most popular attractions such as "The Flight of the Phoenix" or "The Minotaur's Labyrinth".
We leave the leisure of Benidorm behind us and head north on the N-332 road to the peaceful town of Altea. The journey is short, the 15 kilometres are quick, and once we arrive at our destination, a very charming town awaits us. The white facades of the village contrast perfectly with the blue of the sea, and its proximity to the mountains gives us the opportunity to get back in touch with nature.
This time we take a slightly longer journey and cover the 37 kilometres that separate Altea from Jávea, another of the towns on the coast of Alicante best known for its bourgeois past and its tranquillity. The beaches and coves that make up its 25 kilometres of coastline are well worth seeing, but not everything stops there: the historic quarter of the town contains some of the most notable buildings from other eras, such as the Church of San Bartolomé, which was also a fortress in medieval times, or the Municipal Food Market. The houses built by the bourgeoisie are also quite a sight. And to finish off a day in Jávea, there is nothing better than having a drink on one of its many terraces.
