The best thing to do is to start our route as soon as possible. Our first destination could be, for example, one of the paradisiacal beaches near Sant Antoni de Portmany.
To get to Sant Antoni de Portmany, take the Eivissa ring road in the direction of Ibiza as far as the PM-803. When you reach the Blanca Dona housing estate, take the C-731 road for 16 kilometres, about 18 minutes without traffic. After resting in the hotel and recharging our batteries, we will set off along one of the island's most important coves.
The west coast awaits us: Cala Conta, Cala Tarida, Cala Moli, Cala Carbó, Cala d'Hort... The journey by car is exciting, discovering the most beautiful landscapes you have ever seen and along small roads that make the trip something very special. Remember the PMV-803-1 road. It will be a number you will see many times as it provides access to the entire east coast from the interior of the island of Ibiza.
Now, we will head towards the municipality of Santa Eulalia del Río. Do you remember the previous road? Well, from the east coast along this road it will take us about 25 minutes to get there. Now it's time to eat something local. Bread with wine and one of the fish rice dishes, either in paella or in broth, such as arroz marinera. Pork is also present, especially during the slaughtering season with an arròs de matances that will leave you impressed.
What to see in Santa Eulalio del Rio? Its heritage is made up of the Torre d'en Valls, Pou de Gatzara, Fuente de Peralta, the Roman Aqueduct of s'Argamassa and many other architectural works that you will love. The rental car is, without a doubt, the best option for transport around the island.
We still have to go all over the upper part of the island made up of the towns of San Juan Bautista and San Antonio Abad, as well as the untravelled part of Santa Eulalia del Río.
